On his way home one evening, Yu Xiang heard someone calling for help. He found an unconscious man who was not breathing and had no pulse, and immediately began CPR. Others nearby stepped in too — one brought an AED while another retrieved a medical kit. Working together, they successfully resuscitated the man before he was taken into the care of SCDF paramedics. Ordinary people, each playing their part, can make a difference when it matters most.

One evening, Nicholas encountered a man who appeared intoxicated and unsteady. He noticed that the man appeared to be carrying an item resembling a karambit knife. Sensing that the situation could escalate, he called the Police and followed the man from a safe distance to help confirm his whereabouts. Staying alert and taking action can help keep those around us safe. When something doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it. Look out for one another.
